Stuck in your own thoughts?

Does it feel like your thoughts and emotions pull you out of the present moment? You're here, but you aren't here.

Perhaps you become trapped in mental loops or compulsive behaviors, stuck in an endless cycle.

The only way to manage your brain is to distract yourself, dissociate, or opt out of important experiences.

With therapy for OCD and anxiety, we can attempt to bring you back to your present life, freeing up your mental energy for what's truly important.

My Approach

I specialize in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors, and Neurodivergence.

I utilize a blend of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Mindfulness to provide therapy for OCD and anxiety.

I emphasize learning and psychoeducation. In order to help yourself outside of the therapy space, you need to understand what is maintaining the disorder and distress.

I want to help you develop techniques to relate differently to your thoughts and emotions.

I have direct experience working with the following subtypes of OCD.

  • Checking

  • Contamination

  • Harm

  • Moral Scrupulosity

  • POCD

  • Relationship

  • "Just Right"

  • Harm

  • Real Event

OCD doesn't like to stay in one "box." You may have noticed various themes throughout your struggles with OCD. OCD latches onto things that deeply matter to us, and this can transform as our life changes.

In our approach, we will deal with foundational issues common in  OCD. Examples include intolerance of uncertainty, issues with being out of control, and an overinflated responsibility for others.

Together, we will try to help you face any and all intrusive thoughts, confront your compulsions, and truly recognize OCD as a separate entity from your own mind.

You are not your OCD!
